Description

Black-crested titmouse Photograph by Alan Murphy Caterpillars are its favorite summertime meal, but the black-crested titmouse (Baeolophus atricristatus) won't turn down the occasional snail, wasp, or spider, and it is commonly seen gleaning insects from tree bark and foliage. This petite gray songbird supplements its diet with seeds, nuts, and berries, especially in winter, and it is a frequent visitor to backyard birdfeeders in wooded areas of Texas, Oklahoma, and northeastern Mexico. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this product supports the Sierra Club's efforts to preserve and protect the planet. - INDIVIDUAL ITEM RRP Ā£2.28
