Description

Black-tailed jackrabbit Photograph by Douglas Herr A hare with hind legs longer that those of a rabbit, the black-tailed jackrabbit (Lepus californicus) can leap twenty feet in a single bound. Its giant ears earned it the name jackrabbit, as its ears resemble those of jackasses. Black-tailed jackrabbits live primarily in arid regions of the southwestern US and Mexico. They are voracious eaters, consuming grasses and plants like sagebrush and cacti, as well as fruit and grain crops, earning them the wrath of farmers. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this product supports the Sierra Club's efforts to preserve and protect the planet. - INDIVIDUAL ITEM RRP Ā£2.28
