Description
Granville Redmond (1871Ā1935) painted California in all its grand diversity, capturing the topography, vegetation, and color representative of both northern and southern parts of the state. Deaf since the age of two, Redmond set out to paint silence and solitude in his contemplative Tonalist works yet infused his Impressionist scenes with drama and high color. Four of Redmond's works are included in this boxed notecard assortment. More can be seen in Granville Redmond: The Eloquent Palette (Pomegranate, 2020), which documents the artist's extraordinary life and art. - INDIVIDUAL ITEM RRP £14.99
